"NOSTALGIA"

After taking inspiration from Brighton, London and my family i have created my perfect comfort zone. By finding fabrics from the places i have visted, i have handmade my own portable comfort zone...My Blanket. Through out our journey i have visually documented through prints and photographs in my made journal. The objects hold nostalgia for me as they have been passed down to me from family members.
For me this space photographed is perfect, it holds memories, comforts and happiness.
This has to be my most favourite project.
I wish i never had to take it down.
(more pictures to come)

The silver frames were brought from a charity shop, from which i made a mould and re-produced plaster ones.
In these frames are mono prints of me&the blanket, I tried to create a sense of comfort.

BLANKET.
Made with found materials & materials from home, such as an old pair of my jeans, an old glove & wallpaper from my room. Photographs have been printed and pressed onto canvas with use of cellouse thinner and a press.
