"wrapped trees"
The temporality of a work of art creates a feeling of fragility, vulnerability and an urgency to be seen, as well as a presence of the missing, because we know it will be gone tomorrow. The quality of love and tenderness that human beings have towards what will not last - for instance the love and tenderness we have for childhood and our lives - is a quality we want to give to our work as an additional aesthetic quality.

The whole point of the recent work i have been creating has been for the tea room and now hopefully for my work place (gail woodall interiors).i think these prints will really appeal to our clients.
They still need to be framed.
Materials used are drawing ink, indiain ink, mono printing and water colour.

Gail Woodall Interiors...
so i've been at this job for just over two months now and i'm very much enjoying it.i guess im a kinda assistant/pa,i started off by making the tea and coffee, cleaning and serving clients but now its much more,i get to make orders on furniture, fabric and wallpaper.i also get to create mood boards, rearrange the shop and design the shop windows,i recently have been getting a say into what colours and fabrics clients should have in their home.i'm learning so much and i really love working here,i think i now know this is going to be my chosen career.

here are some pictures of the shop and some mood boards i designed today.
