Rowen Park Tea Shop.

I've been asked by a tea shop called Rowen Park to create some framed art work, i am not getting paid for it unfortunatly, but i'm just glad i got asked to do something like this. I've based the work on the actual tea shop itself, it's very quirky and cute (pictures to come) so i decided to add to that.  Most of my work is based on tea and comfort. I just hope some of the stuff sells, but it is quite unlikey with the area that the shop is based in. Fingers crossed.

i know its a cliche to be mega into him because most girls are but i dont care,i could blog about him all day every day.

i am overly obsessed with him,he is perfection.

Is it possible to find this sad,cute,amusing and depressing?

obsession with brighton.

Brighton is one of my favourite places, i really enjoy being by the sea and i love the buzz i always get from there when i go, so i decided to base my Self Identified Brief on Brighton. i made a 'book in a bag', as you can probably tell the bag resembles the pattern of a deck chair, the pocket on the front of the bag was made to hold the book, i decorated this with fabric stones and an interpretation of some of Brightons buildings.

The screen printed canvas pieces are from my sketch book, i guess these were just some ideas i put together. The book is my journal, in this book are pictures and sketches of my days and nights in Brighton. i used frayed demin for the handles of the bag as i wanted to created a kinda shabby look, as i feel Brighton has that quailty about it.
